Positions Vacant: The Durham Diocesan Website

A screenshot (click to enlarge):

And in detail (ditto):

I'm Father Christian and I teach the Bible.

PS: Your cloaking page isn't hiding your identity at all Dobby. Brother Richthofen's friend from Seminary can still see every one of your visits, and we still find the frequency of those visits hilarious. Things must be a bit quite in Mordor on a Friday night, hey my boy? Or have you just been dreaming about carrying Fr. Jass' luggagage again?

Who could possible have cobbled-together this shameless piece?

I have often visited the USA and am rarely in my parish. I have done lecture-tours of both Universal Studios and Disneyland. I believe this should qualify me for the job.
PS. Do you know of a silly deacon who might be my Chaplain - preferably one who writes right-wing, homophobic articles and has a partly-gay twin? I'd like him to handle my big crozier.

Fr. Jass,

You might find someone on rentboy.com. I read they have lots of baggage handlers.

I am appalled that Bishop Nazi Wally's sons have been bashed by homophobic youths after emerging from a gay kebab shop. I hope the Ould twins were not responsible for this disgraceful act of aggressive evangelicalism.

Fr Troll is it true that the English use subtitles to watch 'Home and Away'?

The Rev. Dr. Christian Troll said...

I'm sorry my child, but I wouldn't know: we don't watch television here at St. Onuphrius'. When we're not actively performing God's work we're too busy undertaking private Scriptural Research, or watching DVDs that Bishop Quinine obtains from a faithful contact somewhere in Eastern Europe.

Yes it's interesting how racially motivated thuggery is recognised by Bishop Nazi (?) as appalling and can make him angry. Did Nazi go out and find some same-sex attracted individual to verbally abuse to make him fell better?
Speaking of abusing...of course Anglican bigots could not speak openly about the Pope's inadequacy regarding sexual assault because all they care about is having the Catholic Church as an ally against freedom of speech, gender equality in the church, and equal rights for same-sex attracted people in general. It's not about Christianity. It's about political power!
I thought Sinead O'Connor's thoughts about the Pope's lack of action was very well stated towards the END of this video.

It's criminal how victims of abuse are made to feel like they are the perpetrators when they disclose! When actually the perpetrator's actions, lies and cover ups, cause a ripple effect of damage to many connected to the perpetrator and the victim. Abuse causes so much pain often leading to mental health issues like depression, anxiety, PTSD and suicide. Abuse is shocking in any context but when justified by using God...well that SUX! It's cowardice! I don't think God likes cowards.

I'm looking for Fr David Heron's blog. I want to read a religious blog that allows contempory social commentry from people who have broad and/or diverse personal experiences and knowledge. It's a tribute to the Anglican Church to allow a priest to blog under his own name when addressing controversial issues. Much more credible than the Catholic Church, when it sweeps issues under the carpet! And how GOOD does it make conservatives look, when encouraging and respecting debate? Obviously it's what makes the Anglican Church the great institution that it is! It's like the democratic parliamentary process. The one all Christians seem to value.

Looking forward to finding Fr David Heron blog soon!

After all Jesus was a radical and conformity wasn't one of his strongest attributes. I'd say a down right nuisance with a flair for the theatrics but the everyday person really liked him and he drew a crowd! I heard... standing room only with the Sermon on the Mount!

I wonder if it has occurred to Bishop Nazi-Rally yet that he has helped to create and sustain the hateful atmosphere that nearly cost him his sons?

That would involve using one's mind for more than a paperweight.
