Sorry Charles.

"Revisionists will no doubt express various degrees of outrage at the emergence of the AMiE..."

Could be, Charles my boy, but so far all I've heard is schadenfreude and laughter. Which I've got to tell you (since, like most of your ilk, you're incapable of picking up subtleties unassisted), ain't with you.

I'm Father Christian, and my degrees are in the Bible

Off-topic ; If, as you suggest, you live in the Bible Belt, where exactly within the rankings would that fall? For example, would it be higher than a yellow belt or higher than a black belt?

Inquiring minds need to know.

Now that the Church of England is to be taken over by we conservatives, I have decided to appoint myself Vicar of Canterbury Cathedral. Do you know an attorney who will help me eject the heretical imposter who sits on Augustine's Throne? I have asked Charles Raven to be my unpaid curate.

Mr Raven would make a fine bobblehead.

AMiE is surely an occasion of the sin of Schadenfreude. Mea culpa! I, for one, express various degrees of outrage that the group is in plain view tempting large numbers of us to sin grievously.

Why did the reverence name his organization after a porn magazine?

Come in, little Brad Evans of Rhode Island, my son (Deleted 5:08) - surely you could have given up leaving your usual obsessive comments around the blogosphere for Independence Day. After all, Matron even gave you extra tapioca as an treat...

Brother David, you've found me out. And I thought my past hadn't yet caught up with me here at GAFCON.

And now Lambeth has issued a statement on the formation of AMiE. They're shocked! Shocked, I tell you to find irregularly ordained deacons entering in thru the back door!!

"The Archbishop of Canterbury has had the opportunity to speak with the Archbishop of Kenya about the situation: the good faith and fraternal good intentions of our Kenyan colleagues are not at all in question, but it seems that there were misunderstandings of the precise requirements of English Canon Law and good practice as regards the recommendation of candidates for ordination and deployment in mission."

WTF?

Well, at least Rowan is distracted from bashing the Episcopal Church for a while. He never gave us the benefit of even thinking we had good intentions.

Dear Father,

+++++++ ABC Rowen reacts to the formation of AMiE (Anglicans Missing In England). My, my, what goes around comes around.

Now, how will he deal with this development? He gave tacit support to AMiNA (Anglicans Missing in North America) over the years. It will be interesting to see how he fudges this development and pi** everyone off.

Should be fun to watch. So much for the covenant process in England.

Sounds like Rowan Williams is in need of some help from Maxwell Smart to combat the looming KAOS!

Agent 99 might be available, but she is a woman and cute. Could the ABC work with her?
