A little Anglican Mainstream scriptural exposition:
“But we clearly do not have an account of Jesus going to places specially designated as formal places of obvious sin.”Which is absolutely correct. Everyone knows Levi the Tax Collector’s house was really the local headquarters of the Galilean Christians for Public Decency League. That's why the Pharisees were so pleased to see Jesus inside, and how they immediately recognized him as one of their own.Bill Muehlenberg, Anglican Mainstream

I'm guessing Bill Muehlenberg isn't the same guy who has a day of commemoration in the Episcopal Church calendar.
Not unless there's now a day celebrating nasty evangelicals: I believe he's the same figure responsible for this site.
BTW - does anyone else think it's odd the way these people love posting the same article in several different places at the same time?

Not so odd once you consider that Weird Rabbit posts the same comment on five or so different blogs all of the time!
How about we settle for a single instance of my posting the same comment at just three sites, David?
Oh that weird rabbit!
As long as something's posted at my site first, my Dear Sinful Children, everywhere else is just good publicity.
I am a loathsome, sinful creature. I could not help myself. And you must admit, you do do that.
What do I do - help myself? Only when Consuella or Brother Richthofen of any of his Friends From Seminary aren't available, and then only when I'm certain nobody other than God is watching. Or has a webcam.
When he was just a boy, Jesus visited Cornwall with his Uncle Joseph of Arimathea. They're a rum lot down there - definitely sinners, every last one of them.
Isn't Cornwall where that nice gentleman Jethro Tull said Biggles was writing up his memoirs?
I know, you owed me for the "burrow" comment, David.
Papi C+, forgive me for confusing you, but I was addressing Weird Rabbit.
Also, might you let my ciber-security team know the IP address where we might tap into that webcam?
Biggles made his first appearance in a 1932 story entitled The White Fokker.
Well back then society was far too racist for Biggles to have come out with a Colored Fokker.
