Here's the latest news... KKTV, Channel 11 reported on its 10 O'Clock news this evening that Don Armstrong FAILED to appear in court today for his first hearing on the criminal charges. There is a warrant out for his arrest. KKTV's website, unfortunately, does not carry the story. Stay tuned... more to come...
My advice is that anyone currently on board a flight to Lagos should think twice before handing over their credit card to the passenger next to them as part of an invitation to "find Jesus as their personal Anglican Lord & Saviour". And immigration officials around the world should look very closely at any clergyman bearing passports claiming their nationality is "Faux-Nigerian". Meanwhile, if anyone driving in Colorado Springs encounters a slow-moving motorcade they should keep clear: it's not just the local O.J. Simpson society staging a re-enactment.

Thankfully, most clergy can't afford First Class, so it's unlikely they'll be sitting next to a "Nigerian" who has stolen his air fare. You have forgotten, Father, to warn people of a man who proffers everyone a Book for him to sign. At least +Tom Wright tries to earn his living honestly winning his "frequent flier" points.
Maybe he's been raptured
They're only doing this to him because he's so orthodox!
Damn that female alleged PB! Now she's using the cops to persecute that good orthodox priest! The evil tentacles of TEC, and all their perverted liberal so-called clergy are everywhere!
Nice, Cryptogram.
The homosexuals have penetrated the Colorado Springs Police Department!
Apparently his legal team got the date wrong. Someone filed an appearance and the warrant has been withdrawn.
On the one hand that explains what happened and we wont be treated to the sight of a priest in jail as a bail jumper. On the other hand, were I him I would be worried about my legal team's competency. Good lawyers do not let this happen to their clients. I am just saying...
FWIW

Yes Jim, I think I would want another lawyer. Perhaps Hartley could blame it on one of his clerks. Very convenient...
"But the warrant was quashed Friday after Armstrong's lawyer Dennis Hartley explained to the court that it was a communications mixup between his office and the court clerk.
"It would have been an easy thing to have him appear," Hartley told the Gazette Friday. "Don never knew he needed to appear. We told him he didn't have to appear." "
