Of course, avoiding to think about an illness, especially one like Alcoholism, is usually called denial and is deadly...no muss, no fuss, dead as a doornail!
Sometimes I think I know so much that it is hard to figure out how much I really do know. It is only by knowing nothing that one learns how much they really do know. And no, I know nothing at all, but I must admit I learned it all here.
The clearly heretical and evil persons who advocate for this lack of true knowing are certainly in line with such devients as the author of The Cloud of Unknowing and witches such as Teresa de Avila and Juan de la Cruz. Happily GAFCON orthodox, with such fine teachers as Matt Kennedy and you Fr. Christian, can recognize a heretic at 50 paces, stamp them out and trod them under before they can get near the faithful. Thank you Fr Christian for your vigilence.
Denial is so handy, so multi-purpose...President Bush is still using DENIAL on a daily basis for rationalizing the avalanche of problems he´s created against ALL OF MANKIND!
Nothing like a irresponsible turkey...so close to Thanksgiving and still squaking right up to the end!
Esteemed Fr. Troll, do you have any comment on the grievous persecution of the most orthodox Don Armstrong, whose office and home were just raided by the police (certainly acting at the behest of either Satan himself or his handmaiden, Katharine Jefferts Schori)?
I am more troubled by this than I can say! Joan of Arc had it easy next to we Orthodox Anglicans!

"The less we know about hygene, the less we are predisposed to sickness"
"Holy twisted logic Batman!"
"Indeed Robin. The fundamentalist mind is a dangerous thing but we must understand that rehabilitation is possible. No one is lost forever my chum."
"Holy bountiful mercy Batman!"
"To the Batpole Robin. I want to go up and down it for a while!"
Ignorance is bliss, unless one sees a conspiracy around every corner whilst denying any responsibility on one's own part.

I thought she was an Anglican.
Cracked me up, actually.
There's always something funny about delusion.
