Live blogging from Westminster Abbey: Update XVII.

Oh dear - my battery's dying. Hopefully I can borrow an extension cord from one of the TV crews...

Fr Christian, I hope you can borrow an extension cord. Yours is the best commentary I've seen yet. Of course, it's also the first, but I'm certain you won't be outdone.

Yes, I hope you get your charge back. I've been looking forward to your take on the "Blest Pair of Sirens." I realize that anything Parry is true Brit yet... I'm having difficulty figuring out which way the theological/ecclesiological cake gets cut with it -- or is it just one of things one isn't supposed to question or think about (like why good Kate could only be "Princess William" so she's a Duchess instead.

Your blow-by-blow commentary has surpassed that of the BBC and CNN. I was appalled by the boring Marriage Service with its dreary music and heretical sermon. A Worshop Band from Sydney would have added much-needed dignity to the Popish proceedings. Mr Phillip Jensen should have delivered the homily denouncing "sex before marriage" and condemning the Royals to Hell. Would that the UK had a proper Regal Family like Australia. Where are the Jensens when we need them?

If Phillip Jensen were there then this could have been labelled the "kiss of death"! Did he gatecrash the Charles and Diana wedding?
