Don Armstrong tells it like it isn't.

A most Dearly Beloved Sinner recently emailed a link to a marvellous archive of articles in the Colorado Springs Gazette featuring everyone’s favourite defendant, little Don Armstrong.

The collection offers a fascinating insight into what passes for honesty in ACNA: take this fine example:
ACNA was created at the request of the archbishop of Canterbury as a way to gather all the orthodox Anglicans in North America into a single coherent entity with which he and the primates could communicate and eventually name as a replacement province for the Episcopal Church as it departs the Communion.
You never knew that? Don’t worry: neither did ++Rowan Williams, nor little Bobby Duncan outside of his dreams. Not that there’s any need to doubt; since it was said by a Gafconeer it simply must be true. Or a least that’s what little Don is hoping the judge thinks next summer.

I’m Father Christian and I teach the Bible.

Clearly it´s either a side-effect from the heavy medication to keep him yammering/upright or simply another shot at staying in the know-it-allness of it all lookalike groupie group...could be both but his little CANA big hat quest seems to be slipping down over his head...perhaps the AB elect of ALL Nigeria will have some eyeholes cut into it so Donny can see better and avoid the deep dark holes!

I am sorry to hear Bishop Jefforts Schori has been replaced by Mr Armstrong. Will she be visiting him in prison?

On the subject of Reverend Armstrong. One has only to consult the blog Stand Firm for clarity. Again and again they declared his innocence in the face of the malevolent Bishop and to prove it, they demanded to know first, where were the civil charges. Post November last year, when the raid happened and the charges made, where was the evidence, and now that there seem to be three huge files of it, shouldn't they be furious that the trial has been delayed by the evil ones who simply wish to prolong The Reverend Armstrong's suffering? Oh,,,wait a minute, it appears that it is Armstrong's attorneys that want the delay, and at least a year...so what's up with that? And why no comments from the faithful at Stand Firm on those malefactor attorneys repreenting Armstrong who so obviously have turned against him...just like Bishop O'Neill in prolonging his suffering so needlessly...??
Loyal Gafconers should demand that the attorneys repent and insist on a speedy trial.

Fr Christian, the link to the archive is a treasure, indeed. I hope that the dearly beloved sinner who sent this to you received an appropriate reward. You'd want to keep these precious treasures coming your way.

Whomever wrote that quote is surely out of touch with reality. I am not sure how it is done in the Land of the Free, but I smell the first steps in concocting an insanity defense!

“Under godly leadership with a vision of making new Christians, the ACNA will flourish,” Armstrong said.

Relax, we're safe enough in that case.
