I’d never realised they had politicians like George W. Bush in Shakespeare’s day.

I suspect the problem is rather that he actually believes the silly stuff that his millennial buddies preach. If he did not, I would have expected that he would talk about opposing Roe but not actually do anything. Instead he has acted -- probably against his own political interests. So to with several other items.

Indeed, there is nothing new under the sun. G. Dubbayuh certainly wasn't the first, nor last, of his kind. We need to find the factory where they're made - maybe Akinola knows something.
